Welcome to the Hakkoryu Martial Arts Federation (HMAF) website! The purpose of HMAF is to further the study of Hakkoryu Jujutsu and spread the teachings of this art throughout the world. Dennis G. Palumbo Shihan, founder of the Hakkoryu Martial Arts Federation, committed more than 40 years of his life to teaching Hakkoryu Jujutsu, traveling around the country offering seminars, holding annual Gasshuku (large gathering for the purpose of training), and providing a path for rank in Hakkoryu Jujutsu to all qualified individuals.

With Palumbo Shihan's retirement, the commitment to spread Hakkoryu Jujutsu continues today led by Dara Masi Shihan of Suigetsu Dojo in Greenlawn, New York hosting training events and administering HMAF. At Suigetsu Dojo, Dara Masi Shihan has established a solid program of rank advancement for all levels of instruction in Hakkoryu Jujutsu. She also travels around the country teaching seminars in Hakkoryu Jujutsu.

We invite you, whether you have dedicated your training to Hakkoryu Jujutsu or simply have an interest in experiencing this unique martial art, to join HMAF and to attend the annual HMAF Gasshuku for an intensive and fun-filled weekend of study in Hakkoryu Jujutsu.
